1/4" Electric 3-way Brass L-Port Valve 24 VDC, EPS Positioner

Valworx 562202 electric actuated L-port brass valves can be used as a diverter or selector valve to control the flow of water, air, oil, and other media compatible with the materials of construction. Four ball seat design allows for full pressure at any port. Ideal where lead free and NSF approved construction are required for potable drinking water or other general industrial applications. The EPS- Electronic Positioning System provides an accurate valve positioning function whereby the movement of the actuator is controlled by a 4-20mA input control signal. Any change in the control input signal results in a corresponding and proportional change in the position of the ball. The internal microprocessor and closed loop feedback system continuously monitors and maintains accurate valve position. The valve will remain in the last known position with loss of electric power. There is no flow shutoff position with this type valve.

The ball valve is direct mounted to the actuator using the international standard ISO5211 mounting pad. Rugged unique integral motor/housing design provides higher torque in a very small package. Actuators are tested to rigorous UL and CSA standards and certified by CSA. Anti-condensation heater is standard and will help protect actuator against damage caused by condensation. Two auxiliary limit switches are provided to confirm valve position.

High performance ball and stem are made of 316 stainless steel rather than the typical plated brass. Energized PTFE ball seats are designed for low torque and extended cycle life. These ball valves offer a unique triple PTFE/Viton leak free stem seal design.

High temperature valve mounting kit available for extended temperature range or wall mounting applications. Suitable for vacuum to 29 inch Hg.
