Valworx 568544 compact electric actuated lead free brass ball valve is used for on-off control of water, air, oil, and other media compatible with the materials of construction. Ideal where lead free and NSF construction are required for potable drinking water as well as other industrial applications. These actuated valves use power-to-open (position 1) and power-to-close (position 2), stays in last known position with loss of power. On receipt of a continuous voltage signal, the motor runs and via an all metal gear drive rotates the ball. The motor is stopped by internal cams striking limit switches. On receipt of a reversing continuous signal, the motor turns in the opposite direction reversing the valve position.
The valve is direct mounted to the actuator using the international standard ISO5211 mounting pad. Rugged unique integral motor/housing design provides higher torque in a very small package.
High temperature valve mounting kit available for extended temperature range or wall mounting applications.
Ball Valve Standard FeaturesLead free brass body 600 PSI working pressure (see P/T chart) Direct mount ball valve per ISO5211 Full port design for unrestricted flow 316 Stainless steel ball and stem Blow out proof stem Energized PTFE ball seats for lower torque and extended cycle life Leak free triple PTFE/Viton stem seal packing Certified per NSF372 and NSF 61 for potable/drinking water
Electric Actuator Standard FeaturesQuarter turn operation Rugged Type 4X weatherproof aluminum alloy enclosure Visual valve position indicator Manual override Heavy duty motor with overload protection Two auxiliary limit switches to confirm valve positions All metal gear drive CSA Listed per UL429 and CSA C22.2, CE mark
