Valworx 561410C electric actuated 3-way L-port PVC ball valves are typically used to control the flow of water and other liquid media compatible with the materials of construction (not suitable for air or gas). These valves can be used as either a diverter valve or selector valve. Ideal for applications where NSF certified construction is required for potable drinking water as well as other industrial applications. There is no flow shutoff position with this type valve. Actuator uses power-to-open (position 2) and power-to-close (position 1), stays in the last known position with loss of power. On receipt of a continuous voltage signal, the motor runs and via a flat gear system rotates the ball valve. The motor is automatically stopped by an internal cam striking a limit switch. On receipt of a reversing continuous signal, the motor turns in the opposite direction reversing the valve position. Typical applications include industrial/process piping, pulp and paper, food processing, water treatment and irrigation.
