Valworx 566447 compact electric actuated 3-way T-port PVC ball valves are typically used to control the flow of water and other liquid media compatible with the materials of construction (not suitable for air or gas). These valves can be used as either a diverter valve or selector valve. Ideal for applications where NSF certified construction is required for potable drinking water as well as other industrial applications. There is no flow shutoff position with this type valve. Actuator uses power-to-open (position 2) and power-to-close (position 1), stays in the last known position with loss of power. On receipt of a continuous voltage signal, the motor runs and via an all metal gear drive rotates the ball valve. The motor is automatically stopped by internal cams striking limit switches. On receipt of a reversing continuous signal, the motor turns in the opposite direction reversing the valve position.
Rugged unique integral motor/housing design provides higher torque in a very small package. Two auxiliary limit switches are provided to confirm valve position. Typical applications include industrial/process piping, pulp and paper, food processing, water treatment and irrigation.
Ball Valve Standard FeaturesIndustrial grade full port PVC ball valve Tru Union nuts with locking device prevents back-off Energized PTFE ball seats for lower torque and extended life Four ball seat design allows for full pressure at any port Leak free dual stem seal design Micro-adjustable ball seat carrier Pressure rated 232 PSI at 73°F Series 5514 NSF/ANSI/CAN 60 and NSF/ANSI 372 certified valve for potable drinking water Includes IPS glue sockets and NPT end connectors
Electric Actuator Standard FeaturesQuarter turn operation Rugged Type 4X weatherproof aluminum alloy housing Visual valve position indicator Manual override Heavy duty motor with overload protection Two auxiliary limit switches to confirm valve position All metal gear drive CSA Listed per UL429 and CSA C22.2, CE mark
