Actuated Valves

Learn about Actuated Valves & Controls

Ball Valve
Ball valves provide an economical and reliable method of controlling on-off flow in a pipe line. Rotating the ball 90° opens or closes the flow passage. The ball valve can be operated with an electric actuator, air actuator or hand lever. Advantages of ball valves over other type valves may include: higher flows with less pressure drop, higher pressures, higher temperatures, straight through flow path and wider media compatibility.

3-Way Ball Valve
Three port ball valves are available in either an L or T shaped flow pathway through the ball. One quarter turn of the ball changes the valve position. Multiport 3-way valve allows for mixing, bypassing or use as a diverter valve.

PVC Valve
The PVC thermoplastic ball valve is generally used for on-off control of water and other approved chemicals. PVC has been used successfully for over 60 years, and is highly resistant to corrosion. Rotating the ball 90 degrees opens or closes the PVC ball valve.

Flanged Ball Valve
Flanged ball valves are installed in a pipe line with standard ANSI/ASME type flange mounting and used to turn flow on and off. The flange ball valve eliminates pipe threads and allows for easy removal from the pipe line for maintenance.

Valworx Ball Valve
Valworx is a valve manufacturer and valve distributor of actuated valves and controls. Specialists in direct mount ball valves operated with either an electric actuator, pneumatic actuator or manual hand lever. Ball valves are stocked in brass, PVC or 316 stainless steel for same day shipment.

Apollo Valve
Apollo Valve Conbraco Industries, also known as Apollo Valve, manufactures a large selection of ball valves and other plumbing products. When you specify Apollo valves, you can count on quality products, engineered and designed for safety and outstanding performance.

Butterfly Valve

Butterfly Valves
A butterfly valve typically mounts between two pipe flanges and utilizes a quarter turn disc for turning flow on and off. The lug butterfly valve has mounting threads built into the body for attaching to the flanges. The wafer butterfly valve mounts to a set of pipe flanges with through bolts.

Actuated Butterfly Valves
Ductile iron and PVC butterfly valves are available with an electric actuator or an air actuator. The valve actuator is direct mounted to the butterfly valve, eliminating the need for brackets, offering a significant cost savings. The actuated butterfly valve is available with a valve positioner, position limit switches and other accessories.

Valve Actuator

Electric Actuator
Valworx electric actuators use a motor and gear box to rotate an output drive. This output drive is used to open and close ball valves, butterfly valves and other devices. Valves can be direct mounted to actuators via the standard ISO5211 interface, eliminating the cost of mounting brackets. DPS valve positioner and BSR battery spring return options are available.

Pneumatic Actuator
Rack and pinion quarter turn air actuators provide a simple and reliable method of automating ball valves and butterfly valves. Actuators are available in spring return or double acting. Spring return actuators use air pressure to open and springs to close the valve (failsafe). A double acting air actuator uses air to open and air to close.

Solenoid Valve

Solenoid Valve
Solenoid Valves are used to control the flow of air, gas, water, oil, steam and other clean flowing media. A solenoid valve offers fast and safe switching, high reliability and long service life. They offer excellent media compatibility with low power requirements and a compact design.

ASCO Valve
Asco Valve is a leading valve manufacturer of solenoid valves and controls. Asco products are designed to control the flow of air, gas, water, oil and steam. Asco Red Hat solenoid valves cover the range from two position on/off valves to entire flow control solutions. The Asco solenoid is widely known for exceptional quality and long service life.

ASCO Solenoid Valve
The Asco solenoid valve is used to control the flow of air, gas, water, oil, steam and other clean flowing media. Asco valves are available as a 2-way valve, 3-way valve or 4-way valve. The Asco solenoid is one of the most rugged and durable coils available anywhere in industry.

Pressure Gauge

Pressure Gauge
What is a pressure gauge? Pressure gauges are instruments used to measure the pressure of a gas or liquid. The dial pressure gauge with a needle pointer is the most common and economical. Digital gauges are more costly, but typically more accurate and easier to read. Common applications include use as a water pressure gauge, air pressure gauge, vacuum gauge and test gauge.

Wika Pressure Gauge
Wika Instrument has continuously advanced pressure gauge, pressure transmitter and temperature measurement instrumentation for over 60 years. Wika produces over 43 million pressure gauges, diaphragm seals, pressure transmitters and thermometers worldwide annually. The Wika product line provides measuring solutions for most applications.

Vacuum Gauge
Vacuum gauges are used to measure the pressure in a vacuum system. Measurement can be made with a bourdon tube pressure gauge or diaphragm type gauge. We offer the Wika vacuum gauge as a quality solution for measuring vacuum pressure.

Pressure Transducer

Pressure Transducer
What is a pressure transducer? A transducer converts an applied pressure into an electrical analog output signal that is both linear and proportional to the applied pressure to the transducer. Pressure sensor, pressure transducer, and pressure transmitter are commonly referred to as just pressure transducers. The output electrical signal from a pressure transducer is sent to computers, PLC's, chart recorders, digital panel meters or other devices that interpret this signal and use it to display, record, and/or change the pressure in the system being monitored.

Pressure Regulator

Bellofram Pressure Regulator
The Bellofram air pressure regulator is used to reduce a higher pressure to a precise lower pressure. Marsh Bellofram is known for their precision pressure regulators which provide enhanced accuracy, precision control and maximum stability under adverse conditions. Pressure is changed with a simple manual adjusting knob.

Air Pressure Regulator
Air regulators provide controlled, consistent air line pressure as required for specific pneumatic equipment. The air regulator output pressure is adjusted with a manual knob. Some newer models offer a built in pressure gauge. Proper compressed air pressure is essential to ensure maximum performance and service life from a variety of pneumatic tools and equipment.

Combining a filter, regulator and lubricator into one assembly is called an FRL. They can be put together in a three piece (F+R+L) or two piece (F/R+L) arrangements. Modular adapters are commonly used to connect each component together, saving space and reducing leaks.

Electro Pneumatic
The electro pneumatic regulator or pressure transducer reduces a supply pressure to a regulated output pressure directly proportional to a converted electrical input signal. These voltage or current input signals precisely control the output air pressure to within 0.1% to 0.5% accuracy for excellent electronic pressure control. Our electropneumatic regulators and I/P transducer provide solutions to many of your electronic pressure control needs.

Marsh Bellofram has over 40 years experience in the design and manufacture of the air pressure regulator, electro pneumatic, I/P, E/P and related pressure control products. Pressure regulators are critical in OEM and industrial pneumatic applications. Bellofram products are ideal for use in environments where high-performance and accuracy are of utmost concern.

Ingersoll Rand ARO
