Motorized sanitary butterfly valves use an electric actuator drive to open and close the valve. These sanitary butterfly valves are suitable for food, beverage, personal care, pet care and other applications requiring sanitary levels of sanitation. Tri-Clamp end connections and bolted flange design for easy cleaning and maintenance. Highly polished internals (<32Ra) and mirror-finish disc. Available in On/Off or positioner models in voltages from 24- 240 VAC and 24- 110 VDC. Brackets, couplers and fasteners included when ordered as an assembly.
Air actuated sanitary butterfly valves use Scotch Yoke pneumatic actuators to open and close the butterfly valve. Scotch Yoke actuators are especially well-suited for butterfly valves as the torque characteristics of valve and actuator are closely matched.
