Valworx 3-way L-Port valves can be used as either a diverter or selector function due to the four ball seat design which allows full pressure at any port. Ideal where lead free and NSF approved construction are required for potable drinking water or other general industrial applications. Actuator uses power-to-open (position 2) and power-to-close (position 1), stays in last known position with loss of power. On receipt of a continuous voltage signal, the motor runs and via an all metal self-locking gear drive rotates the ball one quarter turn. The motor is automatically stopped by internal cams striking limit switches. On receipt of a reversing continuous signal, the motor turns in the opposite direction reversing the valve position.
