PVC check valves are typically used as backflow preventers for water, oil and other media compatible with the materials of construction. Suitable for vertical installation or horizontal where self-draining is not required. Flow rates for ball check valves may be less than other types of check valves.
PVC check valves should not be used for compressed air or gas installation.
