Valworx 591002 electric 2-piece stainless steel ball valve features the Surpass actuator, our most advanced actuator yet. Used for on-off control of water, air, oil, and other media compatible with the materials of construction. The Surpass actuator can be programmed to operate in continuous mode (a signal pulse triggers continuous operation until full open or close) or inch mode (a signal pulse runs the motor for the duration of the pulse). Default is continuous mode.

Separate motor and control circuits for easier wiring and improved safety. Programmable end-of-stroke speed control to reduce/eliminate water hammer. Local control and operating status via digital display.

Upon loss of power the actuator stays in last position. Upon restoration of power the indicator displays current position by solid green (full open), flashing white (partial open), solid blue (mid-span) or solid red (fully closed). Actuator will not operate until receipt of a new control signal.

The valve is direct mounted to the actuator using the international standard ISO5211 mounting pad. Rugged unique integral motor/housing design provides higher torque in a very small package. Actuators are tested to rigorous UL and CSA standards and certified by CSA. Anti-condensation heater is standard and will help protect actuator against damage caused by condensation.

High temperature valve mounting kit available for extended temperature range or wall mounting applications.
