Explosion Proof Valve
Valworx explosion proof actuated valve assemblies are available with electric or pneumatic actuation. Explosion proof actuated valves are generally used in environments where flammable gases are present. Each explosion proof actuator utilizes a standard ISO5211 multi-flanged mount pad with a double square output drive.
Electric actuated explosion proof valves are powered by 110VAC or 24VDC both offered with On/Off or EPS Positioner functionality. Valworx electric actuated explosion proof valves are certified UL Class I Div 1 Groups C & D, Ex db IIC T5 Gb Class 1 Zone 1, AEx db IIC Gb.
Pneumatic actuated explosion proof valves are available as spring return (air to open / springs closed) or double acting (air to open / air to close) units and are available with optional solenoid valves to electrically control the air actuator. Air actuated explosion proof valves are certified ATEX EX h IIC TX Gb/ EX h IIIC TX Db.
Electric Actuated Explosion Proof Valves
Valworx 5818 series electric actuators are typically used in environments where flammable gases are present. Meets UL Class I Div I explosion proof standards. Automate quarter turn ball valves, butterfly valves or dampers. The valve actuator is easy to install using standard ISO5211 multi-flange mounting and double square drive. 5818 series actuators feature visual and electrical valve position indication, manual override, and weatherproof enclosures.
Explosion proof rated UL Class I Div 1 Groups C & D, Ex db IIC T5 Gb Class 1 Zone 1, AEx db IIC Gb.
Air Actuated Explosion Proof Valves
Valworx 5320/5321 series Scotch Yoke air actuators are ideal for actuating butterfly valves or other applications requiring high torque at the beginning or end of stroke. Our 5320 series are double acting pneumatic actuators use air to open and air to close while 5321 series actuators are spring return with air to open and springs to close.
