Suitable for use with water, air, oil, and other media compatible with the materials of construction. The valve has a unique three piece investment cast bolted body design with the advantage of a swing out body for easy inline maintenance. The EPS- Electronic Positioning System provides an accurate valve positioning function whereby the movement of the actuator is controlled by a 4-20mA input control signal. Any change in the control input signal results in a corresponding and proportional change in the position of the ball. The internal microprocessor and closed loop feedback system continuously monitors and maintains accurate valve position. The valve will remain in the last known position with loss of electric power.

Factory-installed digital positioning kit for modulating control using a 4-20mA signal. Suitable for use with water, air, oil, and other media compatible with the materials of construction. Unique three piece investment cast bolted body design offers the advantage of a swing out body for easy inline maintenance. Standard unit is power-to-open and power to close, stays in last known position with loss of power. On receipt of a continuous voltage signal, the motor runs and via a flat gear system rotates the ball valve. The motor is stopped by internal cams striking micro switches. On receipt of a reversing continuous signal, the motor turns in the opposite direction reversing the valve position. High temperature valve mounting kit available for extended temperature range or wall mounting applications.

Valworx electric actuated high performance butterfly valves are used for On/Off control of media compatible with the materials of construction. Valves are rugged, 316 stainless steel construction, double offset design. Advantages of electric actuated high performance butterfly valves over other type valves may include superior corrosion resistance, and higher pressure and temperature capability. Factory-installed Digital Positioning (DPS) option converts On/Off to modulating operation using a 4- 20mA or 0- 10VDC input signal. Battery Safe Return (BSR) option powers the valve closed (Normally Closed) in the event of a loss of external power. Can also be set to Normally Open.

V-Port Ball
Valworx R5515V series 316 stainless steel 30°, 60°, or 90° V-port ball converts a full port ball 5515 series valve to a V-port. For use with positioning (throttling) applications, the V-port design provides better linearity and therefore more precise flow control. Total flow rate is significantly less than full port valves.
This V-port ball is intended for use with Valworx 5618 EPS Positioner, 5818 EPS Positioner, 5610 with DPS positioning valve assemblies, and 5224/5225 with positioning valve assemblies. Factory installed and tested when ordered as part of an actuated valve assembly.
