Electric Actuator Standard FeaturesQuarter turn operation with mechanical limits Rugged Type 4X weatherproof aluminum alloy enclosure Visual valve position indicator Manual override Heavy duty motor with overload protection Thermostatically controlled anti-condensation heater Two auxiliary limit switches to confirm valve position Self-locking all metal gear drive, no additional brake required Standard ISO5211 multi-flange valve mounting CSA Listed per UL429 and CSA C22.2, CE mark
Valworx 561825C electric actuator uses power-to-open and power-to-close, stays in last known position with loss of power. On receipt of a continuous voltage signal, the motor runs and via a rugged all metal gear drive rotates the output drive 90°. The motor is automatically stopped by internal cams striking limit switches. On receipt of a reversing continuous signal, the motor turns in the opposite direction reversing the output drive position.
These electric actuators are typically used to automate quarter turn ball valves, butterfly valves or dampers. Actuator is easy to install using standard ISO5211 multi-flange mounting and double square drive. Unique integral motor/housing design provides higher torque in a very small package.
Actuators are tested to rigorous UL and CSA standards and certified by CSA. Two auxiliary dry contact limit switches are provided to confirm open and closed valve position. Thermostatically controlled anti-condensation heater will help protect actuator against damage from condensation.
