Valworx 5519 True Union PVC diaphragm valves are typically used for on-off control of abrasive or liquids with suspended solids and other media compatible with the materials of construction. Turning the handwheel compresses the diaphragm against the valve which in turn regulates flow. Only the diaphragm and valve body contact the fluid media. Linear sealing motion provides linear flow control characteristics. Valve position is displayed by a graduated indicator in the center of the handwheel. Locking handwheel has over 300 positions for precise flow regulation and includes lockout tab. True Union design for easy installation and removal. Comes with both socket and threaded end connectors. Not suitable for compressed gas applications.
